Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a proven track record of delivering excellent lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students to reach their full potential.
  • Student Progress Monitoring: Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining regular academic performance records.
  • Classroom Management: Create a safe and positive learning environment, implementing effective classroom management strategies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with management staff and parents to provide quality academic support, participating in school-related activities and events.
  • Safeguarding and Welfare: Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote student welfare.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: QTS or equivalent, degree in a relevant field, and a recognized teaching qualification.
  • Skills and Experience: Excellent classroom management and motivational skills, strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with parents, staff, and students, knowledge of the national curriculum, and ability to adapt teaching styles for different learning needs.

Salary and Benefits:
