Financial Business Partner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team at TPP Recruitment. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our leadership team, ensuring that our financial decisions are informed and strategic. You will work closely with our Chief Financial Officer to prepare annual budgets and budget reviews, develop and oversee the monthly reporting cycle, and conduct financial analyses to provide insights on assets, resources, and funds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and budget reviews
  • Develop and oversee the monthly reporting cycle
  • Support the CFO in the preparation of board and committee reports
  • Conduct financial analyses and provide insights on assets, resources, and funds
  • Coordinate audit and assurance processes
  • Assess business cases and proposals
  • Financial modelling and scenario planning
  • Participate in various financial projects and analyses

Requirements

  • Qualifications: ACA, CIMA, or CIPFA qualification
  • Experience: Advanced financial modelling, data visualisation, business partnering, audit processes, MS Office packages
  • Desirable: Understanding of the independent school and charitable sector
  • Commercial acumen, strong analytical skills, problem-solving, communication, presentation, attention to detail
  • Personal attributes: Interest in the sector, integrity, discretion, approachability, collaboration, flexibility
