Role Overview:
The organization is in search of a seasoned Senior Audit Specialist with a focus on AML and Sanctions auditing. This is an opportunity to join a diverse team during a period of growth, engaging in significant work. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in AML, Sanctions, and Compliance to carry out assigned audit tasks, define audit parameters, and facilitate organizational change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on AML and Fraud risks within a major financial institution
  • Lead audits related to BSA/AML Compliance and Fraud
  • Conduct compliance audit procedures, identifying issues and documenting processes
  • Build collaborative relationships with both internal and external management
  • Execute AML risk assessments for various business activities
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in auditing AML, sanctions, and fraud risk management
  • Experience leading AML investigations within a regulated financial environment
  • Strong skills in project management, communication, and analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, AML, Audit, or Risk and Compliance certifications
