Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Endoscopy team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of patient care areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide skilled clinical assistance to nursing and medical staff, including patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and implementation of care plans.
  • Participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement and maintain agreed standards of care.
  • Assist with patient and non-patient manual handling, cleaning duties, and waste disposal.
  • Restock supplies and maintain a tidy ward environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant.
  • Experience in an Endoscopy environment is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
