Position:
Shipping and Logistics Specialist (Due to internal advancement)


This position encompasses various responsibilities, primarily focused on the efficient packing and dispatching of all products from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.


We manage a diverse range of customer orders and seek a highly organized and systematic individual to ensure our shipping operations run smoothly.

Our company specializes in shipping delicate electronic items throughout the UK and Europe, with the majority of shipments being next-day deliveries within the UK, and occasional pallet shipments.

The products we handle are generally compact, and the role does not involve heavy lifting or the use of forklifts.



  • Guaranteeing that our electronic items are securely packed and dispatched for overnight delivery to the UK and mainland Europe, adhering to established packing protocols, including the use of EPA/ESD materials.
  • Coordinating daily pickups from our logistics partners and assisting with any shipping-related inquiries, including urgent shipments and same-day pickups.
  • Generating and managing dispatch documentation and related paperwork through our ERP system.
  • Ensuring all items for delivery are accurately picked, counted, and prepared for shipment.
  • Responsible for monitoring and verifying stock levels of packing supplies and initiating requests for additional materials as needed.
  • Receiving incoming shipments, logging goods into our ERP system, and managing associated documentation.
  • Collaborating with our receiving and warehouse teams for incoming deliveries.
  • Labeling and distributing materials to internal departments, including consumables and CoSHH items necessary for our production operations.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday

Friday

Includes a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks.

All roles are permanent and based on a 39-hour workweek with paid overtime.

Compensation:
£21,000 to £24,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Perks:
Pension plan (after 3 months)

27 days of paid leave, in addition to public holidays annually.

Long service leave benefits.


Applicants should be able to commute to the designated location daily within a reasonable timeframe.
