Job Description

As the Head of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring operational best practice is embedded across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing manufacturing team, providing guidance and mentorship to inspire excellence
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, improve processes, and reduce costs
  • Create and execute a detailed plan to drive operational performance enhancements and meet customer requirements
  • Oversee Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) metrics to drive improvements and ensure compliance
  • Work cross-functionally to align departments on transformation initiatives and drive business growth
  • Liaise directly with the board to set and deliver actions, ensuring targets are achieved
  • Implement robust inventory management practices to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory
  • Establish a strong customer engagement baseline delivery
Requirements:
  • Heavy industry manufacturing experience with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement
  • Results-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement mindset, constantly seeking opportunities to achieve goals and improve efficiency
