About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Administrator to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our company's fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Coordinate Vehicle Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule to ensure our vehicles are properly maintained and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Track and Manage Maintenance Costs: Analyze and optimize maintenance costs to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize expenses.
  • Ensure Compliance with Vehicle Safety Regulations: Verify that all vehicles meet safety standards and regulations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor Fuel Consumption and Costs: Track and analyze fuel consumption to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to reduce fuel costs.

  • Analyze Fleet Usage Data: Analyze fleet usage data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Implement Strategies to Reduce Fleet Costs and Improve Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to reduce fleet costs and improve efficiency.
  • Manage Relationships with Vehicle Suppliers, Maintenance Providers, and Fuel Suppliers: Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and service.
  • Prepare and Analyze Fleet Performance Reports: Develop and analyze fleet performance reports to identify areas for improvement and track key metrics.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 Years of Experience: Proven experience in fleet management or a similar role.
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Fleet Management Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management software.
