About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Trading Expert to join our Electronic Markets team at State Street. As a Senior Vice President, you will be responsible for creating and running your own eFX systematic trading strategies, supported by a well-resourced and friendly team of eFX quants and developers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quantitative trading strategies for eFX markets, including FX spot, NDFs, and potentially FX forwards, swaps, and futures.
  • Collaborate with the eFX quant trading team to share expert insight and guidance, and contribute to the development of new trading strategies.
  • Work closely with the development team to design and implement trading systems and algorithms.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis and research to identify opportunities for trading and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
Requirements
  • Extensive quantitative trading experience at one or more top-tier buy-side firms.
  • Experience in FX spot, swaps, or forwards, or quantitative trading experience in any substantially electronic market.
  • Detailed understanding of order book dynamics, different types of client flows, and idiosyncrasies of different markets.
  • One or more quantitative degrees, such as Computer Science or a related field.
  • Familiarity with a popular coding language.
