About the Role:
The Finance Manager is a key member of the business partnership team, responsible for managing the financial aspects of the organization. As a seasoned finance professional, you will be responsible for budgeting, accounting, and financial control of overheads and operating costs, as well as non-operational capex.
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Manage all budgeting, reforecasting, and long-term planning processes for overheads and non-operational capex.
- Headcount reporting and analysis.
Financial Accounting and Reporting:
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end close and reporting for overheads and IT capex in line with the company's timetable.
- Balance sheet reconciliations for any balance sheet codes owned by this role.
Finance:
- Review and approve payroll; liaison with outsourced payroll processing supplier.
- Support the HR Team with Short Term Incentive Plan and Long Term Incentive Plan calculations.
- Coordinate with external professional services firm, supplying appropriate information to support the calculation and submission of the annual PAYE Settlement Agreement submission.
- Manage and calculate Provision for significant legal disputes.
- Other ad-hoc support including employee tax compliance, liaison with external professional services suppliers.
- Ensure optimal finance system configuration regarding workflow and coding of overheads/non-operational capex.
Requirements:
- Fully Qualified (ACCA|ACA|CIMA).
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Strong financial & management accounting knowledge & experience.
- Understanding of operational finance process and control.
- Agresso ERP application software.
