Job Title: Teacher of Mathematics

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join our team at George Eliot Academy. As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students, promoting a love of learning, and supporting the development of our students' mathematical skills.

About the Role:
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students of varying abilities
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to meet the needs of all students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and guidance to support improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience of teaching Mathematics to students of varying abilities
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
