Chief Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at The Tower Hotel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of the hotel, including equipment, services, buildings, and plant.


The Role

As Chief Engineer, you will act as project manager for any planned refurbishment work and be the central point of contact for all parties. You will also be expected to build and maintain good relationships with contractors and monitor their labor while they are on site. Your technical expertise will be essential in providing advice and guidance on all technical and building matters, as well as supporting health and safety and ensuring that all statutory requirements are met.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective performance.
  • Ensure adherence to company maintenance and safety policies and procedures.
  • Work safely, conforming to statutory and company health and safety regulations.
  • Manage and develop the Maintenance team to achieve business objectives.
