Rugby, Warwickshire, United Kingdom Evri Full time
About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Planner to join our team at Evri. As a key member of our International Planning team, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing service quality across our operational network.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze key data, forecast volumes, and track performance to provide critical information to stakeholders for effective decision-making and mitigating service risks. You will also create and refine reports to streamline planning and forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the International Planning & Service Manager and wider teams in implementing planning requirements, including forecasting, monitoring, and improving the full end-to-end parcel process.
  • Suggest and help implement key processes to monitor and improve key business KPIs, such as Master Airway bill management, landed to collected, and A-Scan measures.
  • Work directly with the International commercial team and external stakeholders on accurate forecasting and utilization of key data to optimize hub processing capabilities, transport plans, and operational CPUs.
  • Understand international operating windows and processes to create accurate data for planning and service monitoring within the Hub and transport networks.
  • Produce daily reports containing volume, service level analysis, process, and resource requirements for the network.
  • Compile and publish weekly/monthly reports as required on network status and performance/compliance for distribution through Operations, from Director level and below.
  • Manage the international hub network according to the plan across the whole supply chain, from client pre-advice to processing, in alignment with Central Planning's volume management.
  • Provide key analysis/processing data and planning constraints, such as parcel machine throughputs and performance for network modelling.
  • Monitor the accuracy of Forecast versus Actual Performance results to optimize labour and asset utilization and working with stakeholder groups to implement the practical use of this information.
  • Proactively identify changes in activity within the Hermes network and effectively adapt planning. Assist in the review of Hubs, Depots, and wider network activities for changes and events, including bank holidays, peak plans, and product changes.
  • Utilize historical data and work with Hubs, Depots, and the wider network to install a culture of continuous improvement in planning, reducing cost, and improving quality by increasing the accuracy of process planning.
  • Escalate findings to the appropriate operational area, alerting them to the impact of non-action, advising recommendations for resolution, and working with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Host daily network conference calls with Managers and Senior Managers across various network stakeholder teams, questioning service performance, and escalating issues so that failures are understood and avoided going forward.
Requirements
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the Lean and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in a similar role with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Working knowledge of systems used within Evri, including BI, MI, and SAP.
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and SQL and VBA desirable.
  • An understanding of the Evri operation and ability to work independently or as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to travel and stay away from home as required.
