Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 driver to join our team at Driver Hire - Bolton & Wigan. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver products to customers, ensuring they are intact, on time, and in full, as per the delivery schedule.
  • Complete documentation, including delivery notes, credits, and collections.
  • Adhere to all driving legislation and working time regulations.
  • Follow health and safety procedures and take responsibility for your own and others' health and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety legislation and chill chain standards.
  • Maintain and ensure the safety of the LGV, including safety checks and completion of the defect book.
  • Collect empty equipment from customers.
  • Cooperate with the driver debrief procedure and undertake any other duties as directed by the shift management team.

This is a 12-week temporary to permanent placement, after which you will transfer to our client as a full-time employee.

We offer PAYE and Paye Advanced (holiday pay included) models of pay.
