Healthcare Moving and Handling Training Specialist

Position Overview
We are pleased to announce a unique opportunity for a Healthcare Moving and Handling Training Specialist to become a part of the InHealth Group. This role involves working under the guidance of the Group Resuscitation Lead and engaging closely with colleagues in learning and development as well as clinical governance. You will play a vital role in our committed team, dedicated to providing high-quality, efficient, and effective services throughout the InHealth network.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Healthcare Moving and Handling Training Specialist is to conduct moving and handling training sessions across various InHealth locations throughout the UK. This position requires the physical capability to instruct on moving and handling techniques for patients. A valid UK driving licence is mandatory, along with the ability to fulfill travel obligations associated with the role.
Your Role Includes:
- Delivering training on Moving and Handling (MH) courses.
Candidate Profile
- Certified Moving and Handling Instructor.
- Basic Life Support Instructor certification.
- Possession of a teaching or assessing qualification (ILSi/GIC/ENB 998/ CertEd).
- A genuine commitment to enhancing patient safety and improving healthcare outcomes.
- Experience in clinical audits, including NEWS2, cardiac arrest protocols, sepsis management, and care for deteriorating patients.
- A valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel for work purposes.
- Willingness to travel to various InHealth locations across the UK to provide training to stakeholders.
