Experienced Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our Assessment & Intervention team in Kirklees Council. As a senior practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing needs, identifying appropriate social work interventions, and planning, prioritizing, and evaluating services for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective assessment and intervention plans to promote the welfare of children and families.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- Provide high-quality supervision and support to less experienced practitioners to ensure they have the skills and confidence to work effectively with children and families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in social work.
- A Restorative Practice approach to social work that prioritizes building strong relationships with children, families, and communities.
