Detailed Job Responsibilities

Clinical Duties:

  • Oversee and engage in specialized care such as wound management, Doppler assessments, and phlebotomy under the guidance of Registered Nurses.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations as requested by healthcare professionals for chronic disease monitoring.
  • Execute clinical interventions as directed by senior staff members.

Health Promotion:

  • Participate in assessing care requirements and implementing care plans.
  • Educate and inform families and caregivers as necessary.
  • Encourage patients' health and well-being.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clear and thorough records in accordance with organizational protocols.
  • Manage telephone communications, respond appropriately, and oversee documentation.
  • Responsible for data entry and record maintenance.

Team Collaboration:

  • Adhere to procedures and responsibilities as per established standards.
  • Assist with administrative functions.
  • Maintain regular communication with senior personnel.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work with patients ensuring their privacy and dignity are upheld.
  • Coordinate with senior staff regarding workload management.
  • Collaborate with professionals and agencies involved in patient care.
  • Comply with procedures that protect vulnerable individuals.
  • Engage in Governance and Risk Management Strategies.
  • Undertake additional duties as required.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
