Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer

Autodesk is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions using AWS services.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud architecture for web services, focusing on reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Setup and perform automatic and regular deployments of web services.
  • Configure access controls and security of web services.
  • Define and implement testing strategies for service deployments.
  • Define and implement APIs for web services.
  • Create documentation and learning materials for services and APIs.
  • Actively contribute to the decision-making process and make suggestions to improve code, product, and service quality.
  • Collaborate with other software architects and developers worldwide.
Requirements:
  • Excellent technical knowledge in backend web development methodologies and DevOps.
  • Strong experience with AWS services, in particular ECS, EC2, and AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, ideally Terraform.
  • Experience with container technology.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (required), C++ (optional).
  • A natural feeling of what is "clean but pragmatic cloud architecture."
  • Must be able to work well with other developers and existing services and infrastructure.
