Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead the quality assurance team in the production area, ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing losses and improving efficiency.
- Develop and maintain quality systems, including HACCP and QMS, to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Manage non-routine product releases and stock status, ensuring timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
- Investigate consumer complaints, providing feedback and identifying improvement actions to prevent recurrence.
- Support area readiness for internal and external audits, conducting internal audits as required.
- Perform corrective action follow-up for audit non-conformities, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
- Degree or equivalent in Food Science, Engineering, or Quality-related subject.
- Demonstrable experience in quality roles working in FMCG factory environments.
- Able to demonstrate working in large teams, managing multiple stakeholders under pressure.
- Experience in successfully implementing quality assurance programs, influencing at all levels within the factory.
- Experience in training, coaching, and challenging people to reach targets.
- Participating or leading improvement projects delivering tangible quality improvements.
- Ability to establish relationships at all levels, both externally and internally.
- Knowledge of working with Quality Management Systems and food safety.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, products, and their norms.
- Understanding of auditing and verification.
- Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience.
