Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal sheets accurately and efficiently
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine the correct specifications
  • Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
  • Utilize hand tools for finishing, grinding, and assembling metal components
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting
  • Proficiency in working with sheet metal and understanding various gauges
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments as needed
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to bending metal sheets
  • Ability to weld, fabricate, and assemble metal parts is a plus
  • Familiarity with tooling setup and maintenance is advantageous
