The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a skilled Logistics Operative to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our customers and ensuring the smooth delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to optimize stock management
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve any logistical issues or concerns
Requirements:
  • GCSE or equivalent secondary school qualification
  • Experience working in a logistics environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Outlook
