About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to take the role of Curriculum Leader in our Hair, Beauty and Makeup department. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a high-quality learning experience and leading the curriculum team in achieving high levels of retention, achievement, and progression.

The Curriculum Leader will be responsible for leading a team of lecturing staff to deliver a high standard of teaching, learning, and assessment. They will also promote attendance, progression, and employability skills, as well as ensuring the quality of curriculum delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of delivering excellent outcomes and leading across programmes of study, apprenticeships, adult education, and higher education within the Hair and Beauty sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the curriculum team to achieve high levels of retention, achievement, and progression
  • Develop and implement high-quality curriculum plans
  • Lead a team of lecturing staff to deliver a high standard of teaching, learning, and assessment
  • Promote attendance, progression, and employability skills
  • Ensure the quality of curriculum delivery
