About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Partner to join our Dispute Resolution and Insolvency Litigation team at Maddox Legal Limited.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, with expertise in areas such as contractual disputes, company disputes, property disputes, contentious probate, TOLATA, insolvency and bankruptcy, and professional negligence.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing your own files, acting autonomously, and providing excellent client service. You will also be expected to contribute to the growth and development of the department, including business development and client relationship management.

We are looking for a team player with a strong client-focused approach, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a good academic background. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role and be able to demonstrate their technical expertise and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and run matters involving contractual disputes, company disputes, property disputes, contentious probate, TOLATA, insolvency and bankruptcy, and professional negligence
  • Supervise and lead a team of lawyers to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the department
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the law and industry developments
