Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the delivery of exceptional nursing care and the evolution of services.
  • Exhibit a strong passion for engaging with mental health patients in demanding settings.
  • Demonstrate resilience, patience, and outstanding communication abilities.
  • Show effective leadership and collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Facilitate and oversee the provision of mental health services, including line management and supervision.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RNMH)
  • Completion of a mentorship certificate, ENB 998, or equivalent qualification
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Knowledge:
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983.
  • Ability to manage performance of junior staff and conduct supervisory sessions.
  • Experience:
  • Experience in team building and practice development.
  • Prior work experience in mental health services at Band 5 level.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality assurance and auditing.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional clinical intervention capabilities.
  • Ability to undergo control and restraint training and adapt to service requirements.
