Job Summary:

The CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team in a leading tier 1 M&E Contractor. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising multiple projects, including schools, hospitals, and retail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to and working with the Project Manager to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Supervising and undertaking all Mechanical works, including industrial and commercial building services.
  • Supervising and managing mechanical sub-contractors to ensure high-quality work.
  • Assessing the quality of work delivered by the client's Labour and its sub-contractors.
  • Assisting the quality manager with all QA sign-offs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Attending daily meetings with the management and other trades to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
  • Managing productivity and pushing the project towards the completion date to meet client expectations.

Requirements:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
  • Previous experience in industrial and commercial building services, with a focus on mechanical trade or engineering.
  • At least 10 years' experience working for Mechanical Contractors, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.
  • Experience in commercial and residential projects, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and building services.
