The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the efficient flow of parts from suppliers to customers, optimizing supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness while ensuring alignment with our company's commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Purchasing function, including analysis of costs, lead times, and service levels.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies and process improvements to enhance our company's competitiveness.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with new and existing suppliers to ensure the best possible terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Research and Development, Product Design, Quality Assurance, and Sales teams, to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Develop and implement supply chain contingency plans and risk management programs to mitigate potential disruptions.

Requirements

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional with a strong track record in Purchasing and Supply Chain management. You should have a deep understanding of supply chain processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate on a strategic level while leading a team towards departmental goals.
