Job Title: Electrical Installation Inspector

Job Summary:

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Inspector to join our team. As an Electrical Installation Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting electrical installation condition reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment
  • Identify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards
  • Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions
  • Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations
  • Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as required
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills

Requirements:

  • Proven background (3 years' +) in Electrical Engineering
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Collaborative spirit
  • Commitment to excellence and a proactive approach to challenges
  • City & Guilds or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing
  • NVQ Level 3
  • 18th Edition
  • In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
  • Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Valid UK driving licence
