Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Professional to join our team at dnevo Partners. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing a building support service at our main office facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety equipment, and building fabric.
  • Maintain formal logs for review by facilities management and health and safety staff, and escalate concerns immediately.
  • Diagnose issues in building services, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance requests and provide timely resolutions during critical situations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment manuals, and inventory.
  • Support an appropriate 'out of hours' responsive reactive maintenance service covering key buildings.
  • Supervise and control a wide range of approved contractors at an operational level.
  • Organize site visits, site access, health and safety, permits to work, work quality, and completion of service visit sheets.
  • Confirm agreed service specifications have been followed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building fabric.
  • C&G/NVQ in Mechanical/Electrical.
  • A knowledge of current health and safety and fire safety regulations/legislation.
  • Experience of maintenance practice in a similar large building and an ability to recognize and diagnose likely areas of weakness and equipment failure.
  • Hands-on experience of inspecting and operating fire safety systems and the ability to accurately check operational status and involve technical staff.
  • Knowledge of systems such as HVAC, CAFM, Dali, BMS, and fire safety.
  • Experience of working on own initiative and prioritization of work to meet deadlines in a busy office environment.
