Our Network Control division presents an exciting opportunity for a Telemetry Control Technician on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will oversee the effective management and control of our operational services, assets, and responsibilities related to Waste Services. This position operates on a shift basis, including weekends and bank holidays, focusing on maintaining efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to eSCADA telemetry alerts (the Company's telemetry system).
- Address asset failures or issues within the wastewater system, providing incident support as needed.
- Proactively manage the network through effective alarm management and telemetry oversight.
- Notify Customer Contact teams of asset failures that may require customer interaction and ensure timely resolutions.
Required Qualifications:
To excel in this position, you should have experience working in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment, with a strong ability to organize tasks effectively. Experience in influencing and communicating with various stakeholders to foster collaborative relationships is essential.
Familiarity with hydraulic operations of sewerage and distribution networks or exposure to wastewater processes in sewage treatment facilities is highly desirable.
