About the Role

The Program Manager is responsible for the schedule, cost, and technical performance of multiple projects within the company. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to influence and negotiate with individuals and teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for program completion within time and budget, meeting all customer requirements
  • Managing program budgets and monitoring/controlling all costs to stay within the assigned Program Baseline Budget
  • Managing third parties associated with the program, including sub-contractors, suppliers, and contract staff
  • Managing bid or proposal activity associated with the program, working closely with the Business Development function to determine strategy
  • Management of hardware or software development programs

Requirements

  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and provide guidance and support to motivate individuals and teams
  • Project risk management techniques
  • Project financial management, including costs, inventory, and cash flow
