Job Overview

Axi Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Insights Manager to join our client's E-commerce Team based in Leeds. This is a new role that will play a crucial part in the company's growth plans, focusing on using data to drive profitable growth across marketing, product, and customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead an in-house analytics team, overseeing workload, personal development, and training.
  • Transform Excel-based reports into user-friendly PowerBI dashboards for team self-service.
  • Collaborate with all business functions (Marketing, Product, Finance, IT, Operations) to gather requirements and produce relevant reports.
  • Design PowerBI reporting structures for easy access across all functions.
  • Integrate third-party data (e.g., Media Providers, Delivery Suppliers) with internal data.
  • Utilize data from Google Big Query, Google Analytics, and the Internal Data Warehouse for dashboard reporting.
  • Create effective layouts using themes and report grids in PowerBI.
  • Maintain all PowerBI reports, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Use PowerBI dashboards to deliver insights that support all business functions.
  • Streamline and automate the reporting process to enhance dashboard usage.
  • Train the team to maximize reporting impact and reduce ad hoc requests.
  • Oversee web analytics (GA4), maintaining existing reports and conducting ad hoc analysis.
  • Enhance digital and marketing channel performance through data modeling, attribution, and insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 3 years experience using Power BI – Including developing data feeds & dashboard creation, automation and maintenance
  • 3+ years experience in an analytical role focused on driving insight and action
  • Highly commercial with the ability to identify opportunities using data and insight
  • Highly organized with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • 3 years Google Analytics experience
  • SQL / WPS experience
  • Advanced Excel / MS Access
