Female Healthcare Assistant

Location: Hampshire

Shifts: Days Monday to Thursday

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Female Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to our clients in the community. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to achieve their personal goals, learn new skills, and live as independently as possible.

We are looking for a Female Healthcare Assistant with at least 12 months of UK-based experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality care. In this role, you will work with a female client with DiGeorge syndrome and paralysis from the neck down, requiring specialized care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients with complex needs
  • Assisting with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supporting clients with Tracheostomy and Ventilator care
  • Manual handling and transferring clients safely

Requirements:

We are looking for a Female Healthcare Assistant who is highly skilled, resilient, and passionate about delivering exceptional care. To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience and possess the following key skills:

  • Care of Gastrostomies
  • Care of clients with Tracheostomy and Ventilator
  • Manual Handling
  • Personal care
