About the Role

Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team in Witham. We have full-time, part-time, and waking night roles available.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

Our Witham service consists of a mixture of individual flats, shared flats, and shared bungalows, supporting approximately 24 individuals with varying levels of learning and physical disabilities.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Contract Options

  • Full-time: 37.5 hours
  • Part-time: 22.5 or 30 hours
  • Relief - a zero-hour contract where you can work flexibly around your current commitments.

Shift Times

All our services are 24-hour care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance, so you can still plan your personal and social life.
