This role presents a remarkable opportunity to become part of a dynamic company that is focused on growth through both acquisitions and organic development.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in a comparable position, demonstrating proficiency in generating precise and timely monthly financial reports. A solid background in financial controls is essential, along with a keen interest in contributing to a business that is continually evolving.
As the organization progresses, this position will evolve, allowing you to influence the trajectory of both the business and its financial operations. There will be swift opportunities for advancement into management roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Finance team during month-end and year-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, ledger management, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyze profit and loss fluctuations in relation to the budget and previous months, providing insightful commentary on variances.
- Manage the Fixed Asset register, transitioning from manual entries to a system-generated format.
- Conduct weekly payment runs, including report generation, verification, and payment journal entries.
- Create ad-hoc payment journals and remittances as required.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting efforts.
- Support the team during the Annual Budget and Audit processes.
- Play a significant role in the integration of acquisitions into the company’s systems.
Qualifications:
- Professional qualification in ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
- Strong background in Finance, with experience in a fast-paced Finance department.
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate self-motivation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
