Aerospace Project Manager

McElroy Resourcing is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team. This is an office-based role with occasional travel to sites to oversee project progress. All projects are based in the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Commercial Team to develop project plans and budgets, ensuring milestones are met.
- Source suppliers based on project specifications and engineering requirements.
- Distribute documentation and drawings to subcontractors to ensure accurate fabrication or assembly.
- Regularly visit subcontractors' premises to coordinate and review production.
- Liaise with the design team to ensure specifications are met and quality checks are performed prior to handover.
- Coordinate site preparation activities, including site surveys, haulage requirements, health & safety documentation, lifting equipment, labour resources, commissioning, testing, and client handover.
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects, following the document control process.
- Communicate with clients and project participants to interpret their needs and requirements and present solutions/options.
- Contract management, including producing and responding to compensation events, early warning notices, and compensation quotes.
To be successful, you will have an engineering qualification with previous experience working as an engineer in a related discipline. You will have knowledge of SolidWorks/AutoCAD and experience working on projects. You will be available to travel to projects across the UK.
