Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Operator to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. As a CNC Machinist Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathe machinery, as well as performing various tasks related to machining and milling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting and programming CNC lathe machinery using Fanuc or other controls.
  • Operating machinery within the machine shop, manufacturing component parts for filter housings.
  • Recording all work accurately within the database.
  • Clocking on and off each job that you work on.
  • Reading engineering drawings.
  • Self-inspection of finished product using measuring equipment.
  • Reporting any production issues to the shift Line Leader in the first instance.
  • Looking for and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement of processes to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in CNC machining and milling.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and perform self-inspection using measuring equipment.
  • Knowledge of working with stainless steel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all departments and functions.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
