Mid-level Frontend Developer – Up to 65k – Remote First* – Automotive SaaS

ECOM has partnered with a pioneering tech company that specializes in developing innovative software solutions for the automotive industry. They are seeking a couple of mid-level Frontend Developers to collaborate with their team and contribute to the creation of exceptional user experiences.

The Role:

As a Frontend Developer in the team, you'll work closely with other frontend developers and have the opportunity to learn from more senior engineers in a collaborative environment. You and the team will craft micro frontend applications that redefine automotive commerce. Your expertise in the frontend will drive technical excellence and innovation across projects.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Angular.
  • Exposure to automated testing, TDD, and continuous delivery practices is highly desirable.
  • Excellent ability with HTML, CSS, vanilla JavaScript, and Typescript.
  • Proficiency with web browser APIs and HTTP.
  • Experience developing shared code libraries (NPM packages).
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Karma, Cypress, or Protractor).

Interview Process:

The interview process consists of a 2-stage conversation. The first stage is a 1-hour conversation to understand how well the opportunity aligns with both yourself and the company. The second stage is a paired programming exercise designed to be as close to reality as possible to uncover deeper knowledge of software engineering.
