About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team at Welford Healthcare. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our kitchen operations, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals that meet their nutritional needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a varied menu that reflects the tastes and dietary requirements of our residents.
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent food quality and presentation.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Develop and manage the kitchen budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve the overall dining experience for our residents.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a senior chef in a commercial kitchen setting, with a track record of delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including alternate weekends and bank holidays.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
