About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the development of our next strategy and its implementation as part of our Board. This is an exciting opportunity to create the next vision for England Korfball and see it come to fruition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of the next strategy for developing korfball in England
  • Provide strategic leadership across the organisation, working collaboratively with the national committee chairs and staff member
  • Chair, facilitate and host Board meetings, the AGM and other England Korfball meetings
  • Develop and manage our external relationships with other sports, Sport England, the International Korfball Federation (IKF) and IKF Europe
Requirements
  • Proven leadership capabilities to support an ambitious strategy to be delivered with a culture of collaboration, openness, inclusion and quality
  • Availability to provide a minimum of 4-5 hours a week to dedicate to the role
  • Excellent communication skills across all platforms
  • Integrity and the ability to work with sensitive and confidential matters
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Able to work under pressure in a volunteer environment, managing multiple projects/deadlines, and being able to be flexible and adapt to change
