Ecommerce Trading Analyst

At Primark, our Digital teams are integral to our operations, collaborating with leading industry experts to innovate and enhance customer engagement. We are looking for a skilled Ecommerce Trading Analyst to become a vital member of our Digital team. In this position, you will significantly contribute to the advancement of our Click + Collect trading strategy. Working closely with the Ecommerce Trading Manager, you will analyze performance data and deliver insightful recommendations to ensure optimal stock availability and management in the online space.

Your role will involve cross-functional collaboration with digital merchandising, marketing, and content teams, providing essential analysis to inform strategic decisions. You will influence trading strategies, identify market trends, and help shape future initiatives.

As part of our vibrant Digital department, you will thrive in a dynamic and creative setting. This role offers the chance to enhance your commercial acumen and communication skills, positioning you as a key asset to both the Click + Collect trading team and the wider Digital team.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will collaborate with various team members and engage in tasks such as:
  • Exhibiting commercial insight within the Ecommerce trading team
  • Supporting the achievement of stock and sales KPIs
  • Sharing analytical insights with team members
  • Making data-driven trading recommendations
  • Participating in trading reviews to enhance sales and inventory levels
  • Identifying performance trends and initiating actions
  • Serving as a primary contact for cross-functional teams
  • Maintaining accurate data for efficient analysis
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Ecommerce, Analytics, or Fashion Merchandising
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to recognize business opportunities
  • Effective influencing skills and the ability to build stakeholder relationships
