Role Overview: As a Geotechnical Consultant, you will collaborate within a diverse team, engaging in multiple projects simultaneously, which may include small-scale residential initiatives as well as extensive residential, industrial, and commercial ventures.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess a relevant qualification, ideally at the Master’s level, in fields such as Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Science (or equivalent). A minimum of two years of professional experience is required, preferably gained in a site investigation firm or engineering consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • After receiving appropriate training, your duties will encompass:
  • Assessing project feasibility and preparing cost estimates in collaboration with clients while managing project budgets.
  • Conducting Phase I Desk Studies and Walkover Surveys.
  • Executing Phase II+ intrusive investigations, including risk assessments and interpretative report writing (under necessary supervision).
  • Monitoring project sites to ensure remediation progress.
  • Overseeing the collection and field analysis of soil and material samples.
  • Managing the receipt, logging, storage, testing, and disposal of samples.
  • Coordinating sample scheduling for laboratory analysis.
