EMCOR UK is seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cleaning and maintenance tasks to meet contractual deliverables and uphold company values.
- Perform daily maintenance on equipment and machinery, reporting any issues or defects.
- Respond promptly to reactive requests and service shortfalls, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain good housekeeping of equipment, consumables, and storage areas.
- Carry out additional or special cleans as instructed, adhering to best practices and safety protocols.
- Ensure adequate stocks of consumables are available and request replenishments as necessary.
- Attend and complete training as required, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Use chemicals and equipment safely and effectively, following established procedures.
- Liaise with customers and clients in a professional manner, escalating issues as required.
- Identify and report any health and safety risks or hazards, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in workplace cleaning is an advantage.
- Excellent time-keeping and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to provide good customer service.
- Methodical and meticulous approach to work.
- Ability to read and speak English fluently, ensuring safe working practices are followed.
