Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Analyst to join our team at the Ambulance Radio Programme (ARP). As a key member of our Information Security Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our communication systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in security management, with experience in implementing and managing security solutions. You will be responsible for investigating emerging security threats and advising on risk mitigation strategies. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the security of our systems and data, and in maintaining the trust of our stakeholders.

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect our systems and data
• Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for mitigation
• Collaborate with the Information Security Manager to develop and implement security strategies
• Provide security training and awareness to staff
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies

• Degree education or proven relevant experience in Security Management
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
• Ability to Project Manage implementation of security solutions
• Full UK driving license
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of endpoint management solutions and configuration of SaaS products
• Knowledge of Ambulance communications solutions including Tetra, Mobile Data and 2G/3G/4G
