Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Analyst to join their team in a fully remote capacity. The Business Intelligence Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role includes developing and maintaining data models, dashboards, and reports that help the business achieve its objectives. The position requires monthly travel to the company's headquarters for collaboration and strategic meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide meaningful business insights.
- Develop and maintain Business Intelligence dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver customized solutions.
- Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data through data validation and quality control processes.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement Business Intelligence tools and ensure data availability for key stakeholders.
- Monitor data trends and provide predictive analytics to forecast future business scenarios.
- Assist in the development of data models and queries to support reporting and analysis needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in data science, information systems, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar data analysis role.
- Strong expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SQL.
- Experience working with large datasets and applying data analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in data modeling, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex data insights.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with global teams.
