**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team of seven professionals, overseeing their work, providing mentorship, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee and manage all financial operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial data processed.
- Prepare and analyse comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with department heads and senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Optimise spending while maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency.
- Provide financial guidance on business decisions and growth strategies.
- Contribute to medium and long-term business planning through financial performance analysis.
- Support business development by preparing financial information for tenders and attending prospect meetings when required.
- Evaluate and enhance financial information systems and processes.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
**Qualifications and Skills Required:**
- A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar financial leadership role.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and commercial best practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite.
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
- Adaptability and willingness to support various business functions.
