Job Title: Fire Extinguisher Engineer

At Ignite Recruitment Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join our team. As a Fire Extinguisher Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining fire extinguishing appliances in residential and commercial premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive site surveys to ensure safety and compliance with British Standards and legislation.
  • Servicing portable firefighting equipment in accordance with relevant standards and legislation.
  • Perform basic numeracy tasks, including calculations and data analysis.
  • Handle portable firefighting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Manage van stock and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Utilize mobile PDA devices correctly and report faults promptly.
  • Ensure compliance documentation is completed and shared with line managers.

Requirements:

  • Basic numeracy skills and ability to apply formulas and calculations.
