CareTech UK is seeking a skilled Housekeeper Cook to join our team. As a key member of our residential home, you will play a vital role in providing a healthy menu and meeting the dietary needs of young people. Your collaboration with Residential Staff will be essential in ensuring the well-being of our residents. Key responsibilities include:

• Meeting dietary needs of young people on an individual basis
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with young people
• Recording food temperatures on relevant log sheets
• Preparing food for visitors
• Cleaning

To ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home, including the kitchen and bathrooms at all times.

You will be responsible for using your initiative to identify areas that require cleaning and carrying out deep cleans as required. Additionally, you will ensure the safeguarding of young people and cooperate with the company in complying with Health and Safety requirements.

Requirements:
• Good communication with colleagues and young people
• Flexible approach to work
• Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements surrounding the cooking and preparation of food
• Food hygiene knowledge
• Knowledge of Health and Safety surrounding cleaning materials. Recognised Food Hygiene certificate

A willingness to participate in any house training as required. Full driving licence is an advantage.
