Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at The Recruitment Co. in Caerphilly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance, including scheduling and execution of maintenance activities.
  • Provide mechanical breakdown support for all site activities.
  • Offer electrical breakdown cover for all site activities.
  • Carry out building and site maintenance for the site.
  • Provide input into the specification of new manufacturing equipment to ensure robust design and ease of maintenance.
  • Install production equipment, including electrical and pneumatic services as required.
  • Offer guidance on installation and service requirements for production and non-production equipment.
  • Support and supervise contractors working on site.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety and adherence to Health and Safety Policy.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards (5S).
Requirements:
  • Background in electrical qualifications (18th Edition BS7671).
  • Good English skills, both oral and written.
  • Good level of MS Office and IT competence.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical systems, including pipe fitting, gearboxes, shafts, bearings, pumps, and fans.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
