Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Cupar manufacturing site in Scotland. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our production team, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective cross-shift communication to ensure prompt resolution of reactive issues
  • Conduct hands-on fault finding and rectification when required
  • Work with Maintenance Planners and Asset Care Teams to ensure all planned maintenance is completed
  • Support FLMs by providing engineering expertise to sustain shift performance
  • Support contractor activity and electrical/mechanical maintenance activities on shift, using the permit to work system
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Time-served electrical engineer with ONC/HNC qualification in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline
  • Strong problem-solving skills and computer literacy
  • Relevant CMMS knowledge and experience with PLC controls systems
  • Good influencing, presentation, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Motivated self-starter with good prioritization and planning skills
