Position Overview

We invite you to become a part of our team as a Solutions Architect with a robust development background. In this role, you will work closely with our Product Engineering teams, where your architectural expertise will play a crucial role in crafting a seamless user experience for our clientele.

As a Solutions Architect, your primary responsibility will be to design a platform that aligns with our strategic business objectives, ensuring an engaging, high-performance, and secure environment for our users. Your deep understanding of architectural patterns and industry best practices will be vital in guiding the team and providing necessary technical support.

In collaboration with the Architecture team, you will help shape the future architecture of our platform, offering clear guidance to engineering teams to enhance their operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Convert business needs into innovative design solutions that are in line with our technical strategy.
  • Facilitate architecture workshops and sessions to tackle complex challenges.
  • Work alongside fellow Architects to ensure that solutions integrate smoothly within the overall technology framework.
  • Offer direction to Engineering teams during the design and implementation phases, ensuring consistency with the architectural vision.
  • Contribute to the Architecture Strategic Road Map, detailing the platform's evolution and guiding future capabilities.
  • Ensure that all architectural work complies with company standards and architectural principles.
QualificationsEssential Skills
  • Solid background in software development, ideally with C# .NET.
  • Expertise in software design patterns and understanding of anti-patterns.
  • Familiarity with architectural patterns and involvement throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication skills across all levels.
  • Experience in leading delivery teams in an architectural role.
Preferred Skills
  • Practical experience in designing Cloud and Hybrid solutions.
  • Understanding of security architecture and secure design principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the TOGAF ADM framework.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary range from £70,000 to £90,000 per annum.
  • Flexible working hours with the option to start between 7am and 10am.
