About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at The Harbour, working with Lancashire Care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred care and support to patients with a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients, promoting their mental wellbeing and independence.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment plans.
  • Administer medication and perform physical health checks as required.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting mental health initiatives and reducing stigma associated with mental illness.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • At least 2 years post-graduate experience in mental health nursing.
  • 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
  • Enhanced background check.
